Commuting by T can mean time to read, listen to music, or catch up on the news on your smartphone. The MBTA offers subway and bus service to and from Cambridge 7 days a week, from 5:30am to 12:30am. There is also Commuter Rail service to North Station or South Station, with convenient connections to the Kendall Square area. Biogen Idec provides monthly T passes and other incentives for employees who choose public transportation as their commuter benefit.

Buses

The Cambridge campus can be reached directly by the Red Line to Kendall Square. For route and fare information, along with point-to-point Rider Tools, visit the MBTA website.

Need to get from Weston to Cambridge? Hop the shuttle and save time.


Emergency Ride Home Program

If you have a personal emergency or a non-routine work demand that requires you to work late, Biogen Idec provides an emergency cab service. The program is available to employees who take public transportation, use Flex Options or ride the BIIB Coach at least three days per week and requires advance registration.


EZRide Shuttle

EZRide provides convenient weekday shuttle service between North Station and Kendall Square as well as other Cambridge locations. Passes are available free of charge to Cambridge employees and may be obtained at the Security Desk in B7.
