Campus Dining

Meet a colleague for lunch or a quick brainstorm over coffee. The Cambridge campus offers a choice of cafeterias, cafes, and Starbucks coffee kiosks whenever you're ready to refuel.

Child Care

Biogen Idec has partnered with Bright Horizons to provide on-site child care services in Cambridge. The 8,000-square-foot facility, located on the first floor of Building 9, is designed to provide care for 124 children from 6 weeks through 6 years. All full-time and part-time employees will be eligible to use the Center.

Dry Cleaning Services

Biogen Idec partners with ZOOTS to provide dry cleaning services to our Massachusetts-based employees. Garment bags, provided by ZOOTS, should be dropped off at the specified location by 9:00 am on designated service days. To learn more, visit the HR My Life site.

Fitness Center

In Building 9 you'll find a 7,600-square-foot Fitness Center with men's and women's showers, towel service, and lockers (for day use only). Managed by Plus One, the Center features state-of-the-art Lift Fitness, Octane, and Matrix cardio equipment; free weights and strength equipment; plus a full spectrum of group exercise equipment, including spin bikes. Check with the Center for a full schedule of classes.

Membership is offered to employees and contractors for $25/mo. The Center is open 24/7 with staffed hours on M-F, 7am – 7pm.

Parking Garages

Several parking garages are available for employees who drive to Cambridge. Learn more about the parking pass and other commuter benefits on the Get There page.

Employees can take advantage of free on-site parking, above and under ground, at the Weston campus.

Peapod

Yankee Bus Line and Stop & Shop have teamed up to offer Peapod grocery service to Biogen Idec employees. BIIB Coach riders can order and pay for their groceries online at stopandshoponline.com. Riders who get on or off the BIIB Coach at a designated Stop & Shop location can pick up their groceries inside the store at curbside pick-up. Riders who park in other affiliated lots will have their bagged-and-labeled groceries delivered to the bus commute home.

Wellness Center

To serve the health and wellbeing of our staff, an employee Wellness Center will be located in Building 9. The center will be staffed by medical professionals and open M-F from 8am to 6pm.
